Artist Statement

Handblown glass bowls, vessels, stoppered bottles as well as solid paperweights in a varity of colour ways, from the striking single vibrant colours of "Mono" elegant stoppered bottles to the vevety multi-layered "Silk Float" to the multi trailed, layered and more complex pieces found in the abstract landscape range " Moors" or the  beach and seascape imagery found in the "Sea Shore" ranges. Cold finishing occurs the day after the hot making process and consists of numerous flattening wheels to create a stable base, stoppering bottles, if required, as well as sandblasting to create a matt finish.
