Artist Statement

I am a self taught artist creating watercolour paintings inspired by the Peak District where I live. I have been painting since I could hold a brush and professionally for the past 9 years. My designs are a bit quirky, colourful and feature silhouettes of trees and deer. Working out of my log cabin 'shedquarters' in my garden I am fuelled by many cups of tea and lots of cake! My many walking adventures with my dog Pippin provide limitless inspiration.
