Artist Statement

Having retired in January 2023 from running his gallery in Cromford for ten years, Martin now has more time to concentrate on painting. His use of strong, bold watercolours have proved very popular, especially woodland scenes, rivers and seascapes. He also enjoys working on portraits, dancers and animals. His work can be viewed at Duffield Gallery, Belper, and is also available via the shop on his website.
