Artist Statement

Jennifer has been working with stained glass for over 16 years. Following an illustration degree she worked as a book conservator and book binder; while working in this field she attended a 1 day-stained glass workshop. She took to it instantly and loved everything about it. She signed up for night classes and was hooked after the 1st few weeks. In 2013, following redundancy Jen started her own stained-glass business selling glass in shops, at craft fairs and commission work.

All her stained glass pieces are hand cut and soldered in her Nottingham studio, she loves colour and nature which is reflected in her designs. All her pieces are unique as no 2 are exactly the same.

Jennifer teaches tiffany stained glass in various venues around Nottinghamshire. Her workshops are very popular and suitable for all levels, She finds it such a rewarding activity to do and she loves sharing this amazing craft with people.
