Artist Statement

A textile artist who enjoys researching and making links before creating a body of work, mainly using natural fabrics with both hand and machine stitch. Having travelled to Japan she has an extensive knowledge of Japanese textile traditions and techniques. Currently working on a series - ‘ Fragments of Japan ‘ using fragments of vintage Japanese textiles collected on her travels. Indigo dyed silk scarves will be available for purchase.
