Artist Statement

Artist Wendy Darker has been painting all her life. She has combined her skills with her love of wildlife to produce beautiful oil, acrylic and watercolour paintings of many of her favourite species. Many of her pieces are of agricultural animals. Often against a white background where full attention is given to the animal, Wendy produces startling studies full of movement and life. She has run the business Intoto Arts and Crafts with her husband Daniel Darker for about thirty years. They have won the 'Gift of the Year' award and a regional business award. Wendy has also been a finalist in the David Shepherd wildlife artist of the year competition. Her new pieces also includes ceramics.
