Artist Statement

Since graduating with a diploma in ceramics and other media, I have spent all my working life within the Arts and Education sector.
I am now a born-again potter with a varied style as I make whatever happens to take my fancy at the time by shaping, forming and moulding clay. Using a wheel, my hands and other tools.
I experiment with materials but mostly use clay that is combined with a rough sand called grog. I enjoy creating pots that have character in form and function and can be enjoyed and used in our daily lives.
