Ally is
the instigator and Organiser of the event. Now that the
event is in its third year, Ally feels she can enter it
as an artist in her own right.

Lindsay
Trevarthen
Chair
Lindsay,
our new chair this year, lives near Ashbourne, and was involved
for many years in organising the Ashbourne Arts Festival.
Amongst her other pursuits are hand bell ringing, teaching
tai chi qigong and knitting. |

Marielle
Reuser
Committee
Member
Marielle,
hailing from the Netherlands, likes Derbyshire enough to
have settled here in recent years. She works in PR and marketing,
and besides being one of three new committee members this
year, is also our marketing officer. |

Rosie
Gilligan
Secretary
Apart from her secretarial
duties with us, Rosie is an artist who uses traditional
and modern methods to make prints and artist's books. Besisdes
being a member of a numer of arts groups, she is again exhibiting
this year as an artist in her own right. |

Andy
Rodgers
Treasurer
For 30 years Andy worked
in civil engineering but readily took early retirement some
time ago. Andy was former Chairman and continues as Treasurer,
besides dealing with brochure layout and other parts of
the event. |

Committee

Andy, one of our new
committee members this year, is a professional illustrator,
but also paints and exhibits his own computer generated
images, showing in a variety of events across the county
(including this one). |

Hoodith
Committee
Member
David,
from New Mills in the High Peak, has been a committee member
from the first year. He is once again participating in the
event. |

Diane
Rodgers-Wilson
Webmistress
Though not a committee
member, Diane set up and continues to develop our website.
She has worked in the digital film industry for some years,
and now works in Sheffield for BiBC (British internet Broadcasting
Company), as digital content editor. |

Emma
Simcock-Tooth

Member
Emma is a portrait painter
and a teacher of art. She is looking forward to meeting
lots of art lovers when she exhibits again in the event
this year. Emma attends committee meetings, but without
the assistance of Linda the chicken. |

Sarah
Wales
Committee
Member
After the minor distraction
of 25 years in fashion design, Sarah, based in Buxton, now
spends her time working on green building projects and painting.
A new committee member this year, she also exhibits her
work across Derbyshire at a variety of events, including
this one. |
